About Us

Help us transform cars so we can transform lives.

Mission

Our organization’s mission is to provide automobile and monetary assistance for men, women and single parents in recovery who are starting fresh in life. This includes re-entering society from incarceration, diverting prison through a court appointed program, or for people who realize that their lives are worth saving and choose to live in sober living homes across the Tulsa, OK area. We believe in giving people a hand-up, not a hand-out.

Donors

For us to make a difference, we rely solely on the support of generous individuals and businesses in our community. Before trading in an automobile, consider donating it to our organization for this desperately needed cause.

What We Do

Testimonials

Amanda O.
Hi! My name is Amanda & I'm a GRATEFUL believer in Jesus Christ! 2 years ago I was struggling with being in a court appointed program & fighting for custody of my 2 children. One was 18 months old & the other was a newborn. I was having a difficult time with navigating the public transportation system & making it to various court dates, classes for both the court program as well as DHS, getting my children back & forth to daycare, & myself back & to work. I was also in a sober living program & had commitments that I had there as well. Looking back now, it was truly an act of God that I was to get even half of those things accomplished! With the help of Carla & the Loving Help Fund I was able to obtain a vehicle & my life has not been the same since! I was able to achieve all of my goals & priorities with little to no problems at all! I have since gained full legal custody of both of my children, I was able to get a dream job at a local drug & alcohol addiction rehabilitation center, I have completed my first CR step study, & in less than one month I will be graduating Drug Court! None of this would have been possible without God's grace & the assistance provided to me by Carla & Loving Help Fund! Thank you for giving my little family a helping hand up so that I could have the opportunity to change my life!

Thanks to Carla and Loving Help Fund I was able to go from walking my young son to school in all elements and riding Tulsa transit to work to driving a vehicle!  Praise Jesus for this ministry!

I was just getting my life back on track. I was living in a mens sober  living house, had a good job, car. Then. A guy slams into me and wrecks my car.  I needed immediate transportation in order to keep my employment,. Thanks to the Loving Help  Fund, I was able to keep my job and have transportation!

Before I met Carla I had a beat up vehicle that was probably not even legal to drive on the streets due to its poor condition. It was the car I used during my addiction. I had just moved out of rehab and into the Arabella transitional living house when I met her. She offered me a fair deal on a better car. This change allowed me to put the last part of my past life behind me. My new vehicle was such a blessing! It provided me safe and reliable transportation to look for a job, complete the requirements of my court ordered program (as well as those of the sober living program), and to help my ailing father get to his doctors appointments. I ended up graduating Mental Health Court, paid off my fines, completed some college courses and found a job. Currently, I am living on my own with roommates, I upgraded to an even better vehicle and work two jobs. This would have been difficult to achieve if I had not been offered this opportunity.

Carla and I have known each other for a few years. She was there when i got clean the first time, she helped me get into a vehicle. Shortly after, I did relapse and could no longer make the payments so of course she had to come get it. Not only did she come get it, she put me into a vehicle that i would have no payments on and for that i am truly grateful. When i was in my addiction she never gave up on me. when it was time for me to get my life together, I went to rehab! When i got out my car was not running so she took my car and some cash and put me into a car that was reliable, once again. Thank you Carla for never giving up on me so here I am almost 17months clean!  I decided it was time for me to upgrade my car so i asked Carla to keep an eye out for something that she thinks i could afford and so she did that now here i am driving a beautiful dodge avenger and i love it so thank you Carla and loving help fund you have been a huge blessing in my life and i am forever grateful for you!!!

My name is Jeri Roach approximately 3 years ago I was in a sober living program fighting for my children and my life back. It was very overwhelming all the different things I had to do in order to get my children. A vehicle being one of them. Then I was blessed by being introduced to Miss Carla Coats!! Not only did she get me in a car she allowed me to pay for it over time. No interest. She helped me more then she knows. She helped me get one step closer to bringing my children home. I am forever grateful to her and her organization. Thank you for having faith in me and giving me a chance.
